The Director of Nursing is responsible for the organization and administration of nursing services. Plans, directs and evaluates the activities of the nursing department. Directs and evaluates the nursing care provided by all nursing staff. Participates in hospital decision making and collaboration. Responsible to the Director of the Hospital. Ensuring compliance with the Joint Commission and CMS Standards.
Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing is preferred with a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience including three years as a Nurse Manager in a similar facility. In depth familiarity with TJC and CMS requirements is essential
