Clinical Regulatory Compliance Manager
Advantage Health/Saint Mary's Medical Group

This position provides organization-wide leadership, oversight, and monitoring to ensure full compliance of Joint Commission accreditation, Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, rules and regulations. Identifies compliance gaps and develops appropriate plans to address and close the gaps in collaboration with leadership.  Develops and implements policies and facilitates standardization of procedures to meet compliance requirements.  Identifies/creates education materials and educates providers, staff and leadership to ensure regulatory compliance. 

Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan licensed Registered Nurse
  • Three to five years Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting
  • In depth knowledge of hospital or acute care Joint Commission rules and regulations
  • Five years process improvement experience
  • One to two years leadership or management experience
  • Technical knowledge of the principles of process improvement

Department Director - Women's & Children's
Borgess Medical Center

this position reports into the Administrative Director and is responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating the operations of the Maternal Child Health patient care department. This role will achieve department and organizational goals while ensuring optimal outcomes for designated patient populations within the approved operating budget.  You will also establish productive working relationships with physicians in their areas and promote employee engagement with all associates.  Through effective leadership this role will direct behaviors consistent with system values, effective service delivery, efficient decision making and high levels of customer services, and produce work that is of high quality and cost efficient and demonstrated.
Direct reporting to this position include: Assistant Department Director, Staff RN's, Patient Care Associates and Care Center Coordinators. 

Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan RN Licensure required
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or health related field required
  • Master's Degree required or initiated within 1 year with required completion in years.  If bachelor's is non-BSN must pursue and MSN
  • A minimum of 5 years of current clinical experience in a comparable hospital setting in Women's and Children's area with progressive management and leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving; planning and setting priorities and addressing complex issues for a defined department's) to achieve expectations 
  • Communication and Interpersonal skills required; must be able to address customer/staff issues utilizing basic concepts of relationships centered care.
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to changes in direction and principles

Department Director – Cardiac Cath Lab and EP
Borgess Health

The Director will play a crucial role in promoting staff engagement, ensuring accountability among staff and operating as a visible leader for the department.  Additional responsibilities will include ensuring quality patient care, leading joint commission accreditation, fiscal management and effective communication utilizing relationship centered care concepts.  Direct reporting to this position includes: Staff RN's and Cardiovascular Technologists and Support Staff.

Qualifications:
 

  • BSN or MSN required.  Master's Degree can be completed within seven years of hire.
  • Five years of current clinical experience in Cath Lab or Cardiac Critical Care.
  • Three to five years progressive clinical management experience in Cath and/or EP lab operations.
  • A proven background in improving and maintaining excellent staff and patient satisfaction levels is required. 
  • The individual will possess the ability to utilize staff resources in a positive efficient manner.
  • The Director must have talent in creating an environment of teamwork among all levels of staff.
  • Must be able to address customer/staff issues utilizing basic concepts of relationship centered care.
