MONE Nurse Leader Recognition Program

2007 Nurse Leader Award Winner

Congratulations to Michael Markel, Jr. the 2007 winner of the Nurse Leader Award.  Michael is the Director of Nursing Services at Saint Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital in Howell.

The Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives is inviting you to take this opportunity help us recognize great nursing leaders. If you know a nurse who deserves to have their accomplishments showcased, not only for their own effort, but also so that the profession knows that such accomplishments exist. Candidates do not have to be members of MONE, but must be licensed to practice nursing in Michigan and currently practicing in an administrative role.

MONE promotes proactive nursing leadership and provides professional development and support for its members. We achieve our objectives through a collaborative process while serving as a catalyst for shaping and influencing health care policy and delivery.
