MONE Nurse Leader Recognition Program

2011 Nurse Leader Award Winner
Congratulations to Michelle Wiseman, the 2011 recipient of the Nurse Leader Award.  Michelle is the Director of Hospice Services at Sparrow Health System in Lansing. In 1983 Michelle started a home hospice team in Clinton County, meeting the patients  needs & making the best of the time patients and their families had remaining. In 1998 Michelle's dream became reality with the opening of Hospice House of Mid Michigan, merging with multiple teams that now serve a seven county area.  Michelle focuses on quality of care and service.  She is a person of high integrity & is genuinely concerned not only of her patients but of her staff as well.  Michelle is truly deserving of this  award.

The Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives is inviting you to take this opportunity help us recognize great nursing leaders. If you know a nurse who deserves to have their accomplishments showcased, not only for their own effort, but also so that the profession knows that such accomplishments exist. Candidates do not have to be members of MONE, but must be licensed to practice nursing in Michigan and currently practicing in an administrative role.

MONE promotes proactive nursing leadership and provides professional development and support for its members. We achieve our objectives through a collaborative process while serving as a catalyst for shaping and influencing health care policy and delivery.
